WOW’s Seventh Anniversarysun / 2011-11-22
Seven years ago, on November 23, 2004, wow was launched. Soon wow is goin’ to be seven years old on this November 23. To celebrate the seventh anniversary, blizzard posts: World of Warcraft turns seven on November 23, 2011! It’s been a truly incredible seven years, and we’d like to thank you all for joining us for yet another fantastic year. To celebrate, players who log into the game between November 20 and December 3 will earn a feat of strength added to their Achievements and a “Celebration Package” item. Using your item will get the celebrations rolling by shooting off fireworks*, applying a (visual only) tabard to your character, and granting a 7% bonus to experience and reputation gains while active. We look forward to another year of adventures ahead and many more to come!
Players in some countries complain blizzard should give more gifts to players in 7th anniversary. They spend much money on wow, so they deserve to get more gifts in anniversary. Besides, because of blizzard’s negligence or poor memory, wowers in some districts didn’t receive any gifts in wow’s 5th and 6th anniversary.
Ps: profit of China mainland increases 40%. Blizzard once announces they have lost 0.8 million, and most of lost players come from eastern market. Someone thinks these lost players are Chinese players .but blizzard refuses to admit. In fact, from the third quarter gains, profit in China mainland is increasing by 39.5%. The online game industry has increased by 39.8% compared to last year. So the lost players may come from Korea or other Asian countries.
